"No!" I jolted up. Cold sweat ran down my neck and I swear I could hear my heart thudding a 70 miles per hour. "What is it Alix, sweety?" My mother asked while opening up the oven, releasing the glorious smell of fresh baked chocolate cookies. After inhaling the sweet sent, I spoke up again.
